Marcus Abrametz

Hometown, Family & Occupation: Born and raised in Prince Albert, Marcus now resides in Saskatoon. He worked as an employment recruiter in South Korea before earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Marcus currently works for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board’s Fair Practices Office, serving as the organizational ombudsman. He also works internationally as an election analyst and monitor in emerging democracies. In his free time, Marcus enjoys camping and fishing in northern Saskatchewan and riding his motorcycles.

Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement: Marcus is a member of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon (KCOS). Marcus joined Kin Canada and the Telemiracle Board to “serve the community’s greatest need,” a mission that aligns with his deep commitment to helping others.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask: Marcus’s passion for community service is evident in his dedication to Kin Canada and his work on the Telemiracle Board. His professional and volunteer experiences demonstrate his commitment to fairness, democracy, and the well-being of his community. Marcus’s love for Saskatchewan is showcased through his summers spent camping and fishing in the northern parts of the province. His connection to the land and its people fuels his desire to give back and serve the community.

Milestones & Awards: Marcus was awarded the Kin Canada Life Member designation in 2022, recognizing his long-standing and impactful service to the organization.
