Raelynn Nicholson

Past Chair

Hometown, Family & Occupation: Raelynn hails from Wood Mountain and is married to Greg. They have two grown sons who live nearby and work in agriculture, a new daughter-in-law, and a household full of dogs. Raelynn is a retired Registered Nurse who, alongside her family, operates a grain farm and raises cattle.

Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement: Raelynn is a proud member of the Assiniboia Kinettes and a Charter member of the club. She is serving as the Past Chair, marking her fifth year on the Kinsmen Foundation Board. Raelynn joined her local Kin club to provide free service events throughout the year for her community and to enjoy time with friends. Her extensive experience as an RN, serving multiple communities, made her an asset to the Kinsmen Foundation Board. She saw this role as a way to give back to her province and to help those who need it most, combining her professional background with her passion for community service.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory: Raelynn’s favorite TeleMiracle memory is from the year Bob McGrath opened the show with a choir of 50 children—a moment that left a lasting impression on her.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask: Raelynn’s involvement in the Assiniboia Kinettes and her leadership on the Kinsmen Foundation Board reflect her deep commitment to serving her community. Whether through organizing local events or contributing to the Board, she is dedicated to making a positive impact. For Raelynn, the best thing about living in Saskatchewan is the sense of connection. She describes the province as “one big small town,” where you can travel anywhere and quickly find a common link with someone new, highlighting the close-knit nature of the community.

Milestones & Awards:  Raelynn is a Charter member of the Assiniboia Kinettes and received her Life Membership in 2021, recognizing her significant contributions to the organization. For the 2024/2025 term, she is also serving as the Deputy Governor Zone G, further showcasing her dedication to Kin Canada.
