Deanna Thibault

Zone D Rep

Hometown, Family & Occupation:
Deanna grew up in Plunkett, SK, before moving to Humboldt at age 10, which she proudly considers her hometown. She has been married to her husband, Curtis, for 25 years, and together they have three children—step-son Sean, Tyler, and Kelsey. For the past 27 years, Deanna has run her own government-licensed daycare, a career that reflects her dedication to caring for and supporting others.

Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement:
A member of the Saskatoon & District Kinettes since 2008, Deanna has been deeply involved in Kin for many years. She now serves as the Zone D Representative on the Kinsmen Foundation Board. “I want to be on the board because I get to be part of something amazing,” she says. “It’s incredible to see firsthand the people TeleMiracle helps, and I’ve made so many great friends along the way. Some might even call me a sucker for punishment—whether that’s daycare or Kin!” At the club level Deanna has been President, Vice President, Risk Management, Secretary, Bulletin and sat on many committees.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory:
Deanna treasures many wonderful TeleMiracle moments, but one highlight stands out—serving as Education Chair for TeleMiracle 25. “That was an amazing experience and definitely a highlight,” she recalls.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask:
Giving back has always been part of Deanna’s life. As a youth, she volunteered with Special Olympics, scored bowling for individuals with special needs, 12 years on the school council and spent four years as a Candy Striper—earning recognition for the most volunteer hours. “You meet new people, make a positive difference, and it gives you a sense of purpose,” she says. “I’ve learned so much from others along the way—and I love to talk!” Her love for Saskatchewan runs deep: “It’s my home, my memories. Saskatchewan has great people, and we have it all here—trees, prairies, lakes, and skies.”
