Saskatchewan Talent FAQs

TeleMiracle is a 20 hour annual telethon that raises money for the Kinsmen Foundation.  Funds raised are used to help the people of Saskatchewan improve their quality of life and independence with equipment or travel, meals, and accommodations for treatment outside of their community.

All performers fill out an application to audition for TeleMiracle. Performers are selected from the audition process to become Sask Talent on the show.

As part of the application form, we ask you to submit a link to a video of your performance. This does not need to be a professional recording. Your personal phone is good enough for us. We will not make this audition public.

  1. Create an account on YouTube. Click here for support.
  2. Upload video to YouTube. Click here for support.
  3. If you are worried about privacy change the video settings to unlisted. Click here for support.
  4. Copy the video link, URL, to paste into your application.

During the audition process we are looking for talent diversity. Other factors that come into play are fundraising potential and representing communities from all four corners of the province. Sask Talent will be selected for the for pre-recorded segments, the pre-recorded “Mini-Miracle” with a live audience, and live on TeleMiracle weekend.

Only residents of Saskatchewan are eligible to be selected as Sask Talent.

  • Make sure to fill out the form completely and accurately.
  • Dress like your performance in your audition video to give us an idea of what your act will look like.
  • Prepare a unique eye-catching performance that represents you, your culture &/or your community.
  • Remember that this is a family friendly show. All performances need to be age appropriate and family friendly.

Our primary method of communication is via email.  Please check your emails and junk folders regularly. We will let you know whether you have been selected or not by October 19

Sask Talent will be announced to the public on our website and social media on Dec 1st. We ask that Sask Talent do not let anyone know until the Kinsman Foundation makes the announcement.

Sask Talent performers are not paid for their performance. However, it is a great opportunity to showcase your talent to a wide variety of viewers on TV and online.

You do not have to fundraise, but it is one of the items we consider during the casting process due to the nature of TeleMiracle’s goal.

There are resources available on our website to provide ideas and assistance for a variety of fundraising ideas.  Contact the office at telemiracle@telemiracle.com to answer any questions and provide resources for fundraising.

We have a live studio audience, and would be happy to see your friends an family there.

TeleMiracle is broadcast live on CTV throughout Saskatchewan. It starts at 9:00pm on the Saturday and goes straight through until 5:00pm on the Sunday. It is also live streamed online and can be viewed on the home page of our website and our YouTube channel.

All SaskTalent performances will be uploaded to Vimeo for you to save and distribute the week after TeleMiracle. A link will be sent out to you by our producers.

There are three types of SaskTalent performances:

Pre-Record: If there is a reason you cannot perform live on television, we have a limited number of slots for pre-recorded performances.

Mini-Miracle: Over the course of two nights we will have 10-12 bands play full sets in front of a live audience to be recorded for our overnight.

Live on TeleMiracle: Most of the SaskTalent will be given an opportunity to perform live on television. We do have a limited number of full bands that we can offer this to as there are many technical considerations to be made.
