Hometown, Family & Occupation:
Craig was born and raised in Cabri, SK, and now lives in Regina. He has been married to his wife, Heather, for 14 years, and together they enjoy a busy family life with four children and four grandchildren. Craig works at Jay’s Transportation.
Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement:
Craig is a proud member of the Regina Queen City Kinsmen and currently serves as Treasurer on the Kinsmen Foundation Board of Directors. “I joined Kinsmen for the friendships, stayed for the fellowship, and quickly learned just how much good our clubs do for the communities we serve,” he shares. “Being a Kinsmen has given me purpose, pride, and the chance to make a real difference alongside incredible people.”
Favorite TeleMiracle Memory:
Craig’s favorite memory comes from TeleMiracle 36. While working the phones on stage, Beverley Mahood announced a surprise. To Craig’s astonishment, his father walked out, winked at him, and began performing on stage. “I had to ask the lady on the phone if I could put the receiver down because my dad was performing—of course, she said yes,” Craig recalls with a smile.
Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask:
Craig’s passion for volunteering is rooted in the impact he sees every day through Kin. Serving his community has given him lifelong friendships and the opportunity to help others in meaningful ways. He is also deeply inspired by Saskatchewan’s generosity. “Saskatchewan continues to surprise me with the ongoing support for this great cause,” he says.
Milestones & Awards:
Craig has taken on numerous leadership roles within Kin and TeleMiracle, including Transportation Chair (TM32), Corporate Chair (TM34), TeleMiracle Chair (TM36), Deputy Governor (2012–2013), District Governor (2015–2016), and Transportation Chair (TM46). Most recently, he was honored as Zone H Kinsmen of the Year (2024–2025). Now serving as Treasurer of the Kinsmen Foundation Board, Craig continues his long-standing commitment to Kin and to the people of Saskatchewan.
