Hometown & Family: Originally from Lanigan, Kathy now lives in Canora. She is a proud mother of two children and their spouses, and a loving grandmother to three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement: Kathy currently serves as the Vice President of the Yorkton Kinette Club. Her passion for volunteerism, serving others, building friendships, and having fun is what drives her involvement. With a deep love for TeleMiracle, Kathy joined the Kinsmen Foundation Board to give back and make a meaningful impact.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory: Kathy fondly remembers watching Bob McGrath sing “Rubber Duckie” and “Rainbow Connection.” His kindness and dedication to the event made a lasting impression on her. She cherishes a special memory from childhood when her parents took her and her sisters to the very first TeleMiracle. Since then, she has watched the telethon every year, whether in the audience or on TV. Now, as both a volunteer and a member of the Foundation Board, she is proud to be part of this life-changing event.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask: Kathy is grateful for the opportunity to give back to her community through Kin, where she can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Her involvement in TeleMiracle allows her to see firsthand the generosity and spirit of Saskatchewan’s people. She deeply values the sense of community and kindness that defines her home province.

Milestones & Awards: Kathy’s journey with Kin has been a lifelong passion. From attending the first TeleMiracle as a child to now serving on the Foundation Board, her commitment to the cause has grown stronger with every passing year.
