Role on the Kinsmen Foundation and Why on the Board: Kensey’s love for TeleMiracle started in childhood when she watched the event every year. The excitement and unity of Saskatchewan coming together for a good cause inspired her to get involved. Joining the Kinsmen Foundation Board allowed her to not only continue supporting TeleMiracle but to also see firsthand how the money raised helps people throughout the year. Being able to make an impact beyond TeleMiracle is what motivates her to remain a part of the Foundation.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory: One of Kensey’s favorite memories from TeleMiracle was in high school when her Student Representative Council was tasked with working the totals board during the final hour of the show. Putting up the final total and turning around to see everyone cheering, singing, with balloons and confetti falling, was a magical experience that she’ll never forget. It was a moment that solidified her admiration for the generosity of the people of Saskatchewan.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask: Kensey joined her local Kin club because she wanted to be more involved in the community and give back wherever she could. She quickly found that the Kinettes provided her with numerous opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Kensey appreciates the many hidden gems throughout Saskatchewan, and she feels that rural and farming communities are like no other. Everywhere she goes, there’s a strong sense of community, making Saskatchewan a truly special place to live.
