Hometown, Family & Occupation:
Kirsty grew up in a small village on Vancouver Island but now calls Cactus Lake, SK, home. She is married to the love of her life, Rick, and together they have three grown children—two daughters and one son. Her greatest joy is being “Grandma” to her grandson, Connor. Kirsty works at Rona in Macklin, a job she loves and describes as the best ever.
Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement:
Kirsty is an active member of the Macklin Kinette Club, where she currently serves as President. On the Kinsmen Foundation Board, she represents Zone C and serves as a strong advocate for applicants.
Favorite TeleMiracle Memory:
For Kirsty, every moment of TeleMiracle is meaningful. “I find TeleMiracle very humbling,” she shares. “Every minute I’m there is my favorite.” The emotions and experiences she’s had through TeleMiracle remain some of her most cherished memories.
Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask:
Community service has always been at the heart of Kirsty’s life. She believes strongly in giving back and paying life forward whenever possible. Her love for Saskatchewan shines in her words: “I love Saskatchewan! The sun, the people, the canola!”
