Hometown, Family & Occupation:
Michelle hails from Congress, SK, where she enjoys a busy and fulfilling life as an Ag Business Banker, entrepreneur, and rancher. She and her partner share their farm with four dogs, along with a herd of horses and cattle that keep life grounded in the values of hard work and rural community.
Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement:
Michelle is a proud member of the Moose Jaw & District Kin Club. Her Kin story began long before she officially joined—she grew up as a Kin Kid, watching her mom serve as Kinsmen Foundation Chair. Those experiences gave her a front-row seat to the impact Kin has on communities and inspired her to become involved as soon as she graduated.
Over the years, Michelle has poured her energy into countless projects and leadership roles, motivated by the belief that Kin is a place where meaningful service, strong friendships, and personal growth come together. As District 3 Governor, she is honored to serve on the Kinsmen Foundation Board, fulfilling a long-term goal of becoming a board representative and continuing the legacy she witnessed in her family.
Favorite TeleMiracle Memory:
Michelle’s most cherished TeleMiracle moments come at the end of every show, when the balloons drop, the final total is announced, and the room fills with joy, pride, and gratitude. Her love for TeleMiracle began 17 years ago at her very first show as a volunteer, when she had the opportunity to be on stage for the final reveal. Experiencing the generosity of Saskatchewan people firsthand was overwhelming and remains a defining moment of her Kin journey.
Passion for Community Service & Love of Sask:
For Michelle, Saskatchewan is more than a place—it is a community defined by resilience, generosity, and heart. The willingness of people to rally together in times of need demonstrates what makes the province so special. She also treasures the beauty of the prairie skies and the balance of tradition and progress that define Saskatchewan. These values inspire her daily in her work with Kin, her ranch, and her broader community service.
Milestones & Awards:
Michelle is deeply honored to serve as District 3 Governor during the district’s centennial year—a once-in-a-lifetime milestone that coincides with the 50th anniversary of TeleMiracle. Leading during such a historic year is both humbling and inspiring, and she is determined to help make it a celebration that honors Kin’s legacy while empowering its future.
Her dedication to Kin has also been recognized through awards, most notably when she was named Outstanding Kin of the Year. This honor highlights her passion, leadership, and commitment to service. These achievements are not just personal milestones but also reflections of the teamwork, generosity, and spirit of the Kin community she is so proud to be part of.
