Hometown, Family & Occupation:
Angie lives on an acreage just outside of St. Brieux, SK, with her partner, Scott Beakr, and their four-legged “dog-ter,” Gertrude. She is the Director of the St. Brieux Community Childcare Centre and holds an Early Childhood Education Diploma. Angie also serves on both the provincial board of the Saskatchewan Early Childhood Association and the federal board of the Canadian Child Care Federation.
Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement:
Angie began her Kin journey in 2013 as a member of the Kinette Club of Melfort. In 2018, she helped charter the Kin Club of St. Brieux in her own hometown, where she has since served as Vice-Chair and Secretary. She also led the club’s very first project, the St. Brieux Green Space project.
Angie first got involved with Kin as a way to meet new people, and being part of TeleMiracle had always been a goal of hers. Today, she proudly serves as the Zone B Representative on the Kinsmen Foundation Board.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory:
One of Angie’s favourite TeleMiracle traditions is the Kin Club of St. Brieux’s annual T-shirt theme. “Our shirts are always bright and colourful, and they definitely get us noticed.” The club’s table is also known as snack central, with plenty of laughs shared throughout the weekend. “Hearts are full, sleep bank is empty.”
Passion for Community Service & Love of Saskatchewan:
For Angie, the most rewarding part of her involvement is being able to give her time and energy to make Saskatchewan a better place. “What is there not to love? Besides the -40, snowstorms, and mosquito season, it’s such a beautiful province with some of the best sunrises and sunsets.”
Milestones & Awards:
Angie received the Heart of Kin Award in 2022 and was named Zone B Kin of the Year in 2025.
