Margaret Leigh

Zone B Rep

Hometown, Family & Occupation: Margaret lives south of Melfort in the RM of Pleasantdale, where she and her husband, Morgan, operate a cattle ranch with 230 cows. They have two children, Atticus and Kate.

Kin Club & Kinsmen Foundation Board Involvement: Margaret is a member of the Kinette Club of Melfort. This is Margaret’s first year on the Kinsmen Foundation Board and will serve as the Zone B Representative. Margaret and her husband joined the local Kin clubs shortly after they got married, having been involved in service clubs like Kiwanis during university. Now that her children are older and the farm is running more routinely, Margaret has more time to dedicate to the community.

Favorite TeleMiracle Memory: Margaret’s favorite TeleMiracle memory is from her first TeleMiracle, TM 34. Not having grown up in Saskatchewan, she didn’t initially know what it was. After 20 hours with no sleep, she vividly remembers the throng of people pounding on the table and singing the Kin song, an experience that left a lasting impression.

Passion for Community Service & Love of Saskatchewan: Margaret’s involvement in the Kinette Club of Melfort and the Kinsmen Foundation Board showcases her dedication to community service. She and her husband have been committed to service clubs since their university days and continue to contribute significantly to their local community. For Margaret, the best thing about living in Saskatchewan is the sense of community and the collective commitment to well-being. This deep-rooted community spirit fuels her dedication to serving the people of Saskatchewan.
