About Amanda: Amanda grew up in Biggar, SK and now calls Langham home, where she lives with her young family. When not at work, she enjoys family adventures, exploring our beautiful province, and spending time at the lake. Being a Kinette for 10 years she is driven by a passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives. She is a dedicated member of the Kinsmen Foundation, sitting on the Board of Directors for 3 years, then joining the office staff in 2022.

The Best Thing About Working at the Kinsmen Foundation: For Amanda, the most rewarding aspect of her role at the Kinsmen Foundation is the ability to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. She finds it easy to wake up and go to work each day, knowing that her efforts provide a helping hand to those on challenging journeys. Additionally, she values the camaraderie with her co-workers, who make the work environment enjoyable.

Earliest or Favorite Memory of TeleMiracle: Amanda fondly recalls that TeleMiracle was the only time the TV was on before church on Sundays. A huge fan of Bob McGrath, she cherishes the memory of watching him perform live and having the honor of meeting him backstage. She remembers him as a kindhearted soul who genuinely wanted everyone to feel valued and hopeful for the future.

The Best Thing About Living in Saskatchewan: Amanda appreciates the wide-open landscape, beautiful skies, and the strong sense of community in Saskatchewan. She values the supportive nature of the people, always ready to help their neighbors.

Dream Coffee Companion: If given the chance, Amanda would love to have a quiet cup of coffee and a long walk with her favorite running partner, a golden retriever named Dixie.

Dream Travel Locations: Amanda dreams of touring northern Canada and returning to Greece, eager to explore the beauty and history of these destinations.
