Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity that was sparked in the early 2010s. Annually, Giving Tuesday prompts people to kind acts and giving to the charities that mean the most to them.
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday was created with the goal of promoting radical generosity and creating a world with a shared humanity. It arose in 2012 and made its way over to Canada in 2013. Internationally more than 26,000 charities and organizations have participated in Giving Tuesday. This year, the Kinsmen Foundation and TeleMiracle are excited to join in this movement.
Giving Tuesday is December 2, 2025 following Thanksgiving in the United States, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The theme for this Giving Tuesday is Behind Every Story is YOU. This theme was chosen because we believe the power of the collective makes big things happen. Each donation, no matter the size makes a lasting impact on the lives of our grant recipients.

- One of the most impactful ways you can get involved is by donating to the Kinsmen Foundation. Donate and make a difference here.
TeleMiracle is a 20-hour, annual telethon that is broadcast live in Saskatchewan. This event is put on by the Kinsmen, Kinette, and Kin clubs from across the province and it is a fundraiser for the Kinsmen Foundation. The Kinsmen Foundation exists year-round, granting applicants access to medical travel assistance and/or mobility equipment.
Despite only having a population of around 1.2 million people, the generous residents of the province have helped us raise over $171 million since 1977.
