On this final day of National Volunteer Week, we want to give a big shout out to all our “miscellaneous” volunteers.
- The companies that answer phones during corporate phone panels.
- The kids of all ages that either volunteer or get “voluntold” to help alongside their parent(s).
- Significant others that pitch in where they can and hold down the fort so that our volunteers can do what they do.
- Those who come into the office after the show to open and sort mail.
- Everyone who comes to package up bears in June.
- Those from nearby Kinsmen and Kinettes clubs who come help out at the office when the staff needs extra hands.
- The energetic people who put on the mascot costume throughout the year.
- The high-school kids who choose TeleMiracle as the charity they volunteer with, for class credit.
- And all the ones we might be forgetting.
The Kinsmen Foundation and TeleMiracle would not exist if it weren’t for the generous volunteers who give so much of their time, energy, and skills to keep that total going higher so that “Saskatchewan’s Charity” can continue “Helping People Every Day!
