The National Cast and the volunteers who answer the phones get most of the attention because they’re on camera. But there’s a group of people who aren’t seen as much. Even though they work in the shadows, the work they do is extremely important and we think they deserve their moment in the spotlight.
Here are some pics from pre-covid years.
Led by the Producers and the Production Volunteer Coordinators…
…some of the Production team includes:
- Lighting
- Sound
- Dome Productions
- employees from the venue
- CTV
- Directors
- SaskTel
- the team who puts text and graphics on the screen, like the names of the donors at the bottom of the screen
- the team who run the live stream, etc.
- those who work the cameras
- and more!
They make sure TeleMiracle gets on the air plus looks and sounds good doing it.
In normal years the team consists of close to 100 people. This year, they made it work with only about 30. Thirty people working a 20-hour telethon. They, like the Kin volunteers, often put in long hours to ensure the show goes smoothly.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to these unsung heroes! Some of them have been working at TeleMiracle for many years. Everyone’s hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. We literally couldn’t do it without you!
