The Kinsmen Foundation Board of Directors went through the process of strategic planning in the Spring of 2025. This plan has set up action items for completion and review over the next three years. Out of the strategic plan was borne a new mandate, vision, and values.
Mandate:
- To assist Saskatchewan citizens living with disabilities and support Saskatchewan citizens who wish to age-in-place.
- To improve accessibility of care through medical travel support and daily quality of life through medical equipment for our target populations.
- To raise and distribute funds in service of these ends.
- To provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for Kin across Saskatchewan.
- To recruit, train, and support the next generation of Kin across Saskatchewan.
Â
Vision: A Saskatchewan where disability or illness do not limit an individual’s quality of life.
Â
Values: Volunteerism, Equity, Accessibility, Consistency, Transparency.
